Day 5 (Kinda!)

Yes, I have not posted in a while, not as tech savvy as I would like to be, but I am a work in progress!  Just so you know that I am not perfect, I have delayed the “Planking” for a little while.  Not given up, just delayed!!!  As I build this site, I am learning everyday and trying to make new neuro-connections so each time I edit, it gets easier.   I keep telling myself, “It’s not hard, it’s just new”.

Flu season is now upon us here in North America and the usual spin is being advertized about getting yours.   I have read so much on the ingredients in these shots that I now have abandoned these for myself and my family.  They still contain mercury (heavy metal which NEVER leaves the system) , formaldehyde, aluminum (linked to Alzheimer’s) and MSG as well as a whole host of other nasty ingredients.   The success rate is 1.5% which means that there is a 98.5% chance the flu shot won’t work.  On top of that, developers have to determine which 3 of the 300 strains of the flu virus will be prevalent during the flu season.  That means that if you develop any of the strains #4 to #300, you are not protected.

We were born with an immune system.  When we keep injecting our bodies with foreign viruses thinking that it builds our immune system, it actually causes our system to atrophy.  Like muscles in the body that are not used, they shrink and become weak, same for our immune system.  When you develop a cold or flu, it is because your immune system is weak, after your bout with the illness, your system becomes stronger.

It has been 8 years since I had a flu shot or had my family immunized.  We take vitamin D during the winter months, anywhere from 5,000 to 8,000IU per day.   Do your research!  The 400IU that is recommended by our Canadian Government is severely inadequate.   If you can, have your blood tested for vitamin D levels.  The test is called 25-hydroxy vitamin D test.  The levels that are optimum 30-60ng/ml.   Sadly, our government plan does not cover the cost of approximately $75.

Many changes are needed in our health care system, but Rome was not built in a day.  If we keep on top of our ELECTED politicians, change will be forth coming.  Remember, YOU pay their salaries!
